     Stan Tucker has conducted, either on Broadway, National Tours, or Internationally, three of the most popular works of all time: 

 

The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, and Les Miserables.

He began his association with Andrew Lloyd Webbers’s The Phantom of the Opera as a pianist for the Broadway production, and soon became the Music Director for the German company of the show in Hamburg.  Following this he served as Associate Music Supervisor for the creation of seven companies of the show worldwide, including Copenhagen, Madrid, Antwerp, Stuttgart, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, and Capetown.  As Music Director for the World Tour of Phantom, he has conducted the show in Seoul, Bejing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore, Istanbul, Manila, and Daegu.

Stan conducted both the Broadway and national tour of Cats, and was Music Supervisor for the Brazilian production of the show, both in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.  He was also conductor for the national tour of Les Miserables.

Additional Broadway MD/conductor/pianist credits include Aida, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Love Musik, Mary Poppins, Jesus Christ Superstar, and My One and Only. Off Broadway/regional work at The Huntington Theater, York Theater, Casa Mañana, Playwrights Horizons, Goodspeed Opera (Chester), Eugene O’neil Center, and New Harmony Project.  Stan has returned to his native Nashville through the years, working as MD for Tennessee Repertory Theater (now Nashville Rep), conductor for The Nashville Ballet and Nashville Symphony, and pianist/composer for Tennessee Dance Theater.
