Stan has been an adjunct professor in the music department of New York University’s Steinhardt School since 2006, having taught in both the Vocal Performance and Collaborative Piano Programs.

He served as Music Director/Conductor for seven “Main Stage” productions and four smaller “Ala Carte” productions, including Brigadoon, The Secret Garden, Sweet Smell of Success, The Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Violet, Assassins, The Golden Apple, Quilters, and Berlin to Broadway. He was also MD for the annual NYU Steinhardt Showcase, which presents the graduating Vocal Performance majors in musical theater to the industry.

Stan is pleased that so many of the NYU students he has taught, coached, or conducted have found their way to theatrical stages, orchestra pits, and other professional venues throughout the United States and beyond.
